...older!
When I was thinking about my layouts for my Sarah's Cards blog work, my impending birthday came to mind and I thought that it would be a good time to do some documenting about myself as I hit the halfway-through-my-thirties mark.
So this layout is all about my 'Facts and favourites right now'. I make lots of similar pages for the kids but hardly ever scrap about myself but I really enjoyed doing this one. Need to feature myself a bit more often!
I also made this layout for Evie, using the same supplies:
It's challenge time on the blog using a sketch by Jen. This was my take on it:
A badly lit shot of scruffy haired children but also one of a precious moment. I cherish the imperfect pictures; they capture our family life and moments that we'll never get back. It's also pretty impossible to get all three children to behave for the camera!

Happy Birthday! I absoluetly love the layouts, especially those cute little pegs, and fab journaling on the one about you. I bet the children will reading that when they are older :) xx

Fab layouts! I should do a big 40 layout for me and that got me thinking, we need to do one about our other halves!
I love that last one especially (though getting to know you better through the first one was fun too!) - the photo is lovely and I really like the way you've anchored all the elements down the right. Oh, and the heart is a great touch. :)
